1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide you with the best training experience:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we store your email and training history.
- Location Data: With your explicit permission, we access your device's GPS location to show you nearby Jiu Jitsu gyms and open mats.
- Training Logs: We store the gym name, date, and duration of sessions you log manually within the app.
2. Apple HealthKit Integration
TapIn Jiu Jitsu offers integration with the Apple Health app (HealthKit).
- Data Usage: If enabled, TapIn writes your estimated calories burned and workout duration to the Health app.
- Privacy: We do not use data collected via HealthKit for marketing or advertising purposes. Your health data is processed locally and only shared with the Health app at your direction.
- Control: You can enable or disable this sync at any time within the Apple Health app settings or the TapIn settings menu.
3. Location Services
We use your location solely to enhance the Gym Directory feature.
- We do not track your location in the background.
- We do not sell your location data to third parties or data brokers.
4. Payments and Security
TapIn allows users to support the developer via tips.
- Secure Transactions: All payments are processed securely through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
- No Data Sharing: We do not have access to your credit card information or billing address. No personal financial data is shared with the developer or third parties.
5. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We believe you should have full control over your data:
- Right to Delete: You can delete your account and all associated training data at any time via the Settings menu within the app.
- Permanent Removal: Upon account deletion, all personal records, training history, and account details are permanently purged from our servers.
6. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to others. We do not share your training habits or health metrics with any third-party advertisers.
